Privacy policy

Last updated: 30/10/2026

This policy explains how we process the personal data of visitors to the youvaai.com website and of people who use the demo request form, pursuant to Article 13 of Regulation (EU) 2016/679 (GDPR) and Italian Legislative Decree 196/2003 (Personal Data Protection Code), as amended by Legislative Decree 101/2018. In case of discrepancy, the Italian version prevails.

1. Data controller

YouECOM S.r.l.s., Via Udine 5, 96016 Lentini (SR) · VAT IT01928300894 · REA SR-158555.

For any matter concerning your data you can contact the controller at youecom@pec.it, through the website contact form or by post at the registered office. The controller has not appointed a data protection officer (DPO), as it is not required to do so.

2. Data we process

  • "Request a demo" form data: full name, email, company or property name and, if you enter them, phone number, industry and message. Please do not include special categories of data (e.g. health data) or other people's data in your message.
  • Follow-up communications: data contained in the emails and phone calls exchanged to arrange the demo.
  • Browsing data: IP address, date and time, requested page, response status and browser type, automatically recorded by the servers in technical logs.
  • Cookies and statistics: a technical cookie for the language, one to remember your cookie choices and, only with your consent, Google Analytics statistics cookies. Details are in the cookie policy.

3. Purposes and legal bases

PurposeLegal basis
Answering your request, arranging the demo and sending you information or a quote about the service. Pre-contractual measures taken at your request (Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR).
Website security and abuse prevention, such as blocking automated form submissions. The controller's legitimate interest in protecting the website and its systems (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR).
Aggregate website usage statistics with Google Analytics. Consent, given through the cookie banner (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR and Art. 122 of the Italian Privacy Code). You can withdraw it at any time.
Compliance with legal obligations and establishment, exercise or defence of legal claims. Legal obligation (Art. 6(1)(c) GDPR) and the controller's legitimate interest (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR).

Your data is not used to send you newsletters or promotional messages, is not sold to third parties and is not subject to profiling or to decisions based solely on automated processing (Art. 22 GDPR).

4. Whether providing data is mandatory

The form fields marked as required are needed to answer your request: without them we cannot contact you. The other fields are optional. Consent to statistics cookies is freely given: if you refuse, you can use the website without limitations.

5. How we process data

Requests sent with the form are not saved in a website database: they are sent by email to the controller's authorised staff and kept in the company mailbox. To block automated submissions the website keeps the IP address of the request in memory for up to 10 minutes. Data is processed electronically, with appropriate technical and organisational security measures, including an encrypted connection (HTTPS) and access restricted to authorised staff.

6. Recipients

Data may be processed by:

  • the controller's staff, authorised and instructed to process it (Art. 29 GDPR);
  • providers of services needed by the website, appointed as processors (Art. 28 GDPR): the provider of the hosting and infrastructure on which the website and email run, and Google Ireland Limited for the Google Analytics service;
  • public authorities and professionals (e.g. legal advisors), when needed for legal obligations or to protect the controller's rights.

The website also loads fonts from the Google Fonts service: to download them your browser contacts Google's servers, which receive your IP address. Data is not disclosed to the public.

7. Transfers outside the European Union

Form data is processed in the European Union. Google services (Google Fonts and Google Analytics) may involve the transfer of some data, such as IP addresses or online identifiers, to the United States. Such transfers are based on the European Commission's adequacy decision on the EU-U.S. Data Privacy Framework, in which Google LLC participates (Art. 45 GDPR), and on the standard contractual clauses approved by the Commission (Art. 46 GDPR).

8. How long we keep data

  • Form requests and follow-up communications: for as long as needed to handle the request and in any case no longer than 24 months from the last contact. If the request leads to a contract, data is kept for the duration of the relationship and, after it ends, for the period required by law (up to 10 years for accounting and tax records).
  • Server technical logs: for a limited period, normally no longer than 6 months, unless they must be kept longer to investigate offences or at the request of the authorities.
  • Google Analytics statistics: for the retention period set in the service, no longer than 14 months; for cookies see the cookie policy.

9. Your rights

You can exercise at any time the rights provided by Articles 15-22 GDPR:

  • access your data and obtain a copy of it;
  • have it rectified if inaccurate or incomplete;
  • have it erased or have processing restricted, in the cases provided by law;
  • receive the data you provided in a structured, machine-readable format (portability);
  • object at any time, on grounds relating to your particular situation, to processing based on legitimate interest;
  • withdraw your consent to statistics cookies at any time from the "Cookie preferences" link at the bottom of every page, without affecting the lawfulness of processing carried out before the withdrawal.

To exercise your rights, contact the controller using the details in section 1. We will reply without undue delay and in any case within one month of receiving the request, extendable by two months for complex requests (Art. 12 GDPR).

If you believe that the processing of your data infringes the law, you have the right to lodge a complaint with the Italian Data Protection Authority (Garante per la protezione dei dati personali), Piazza Venezia 11, 00187 Rome, Italy, www.garanteprivacy.it (Art. 77 GDPR), or with the supervisory authority of the EU country where you live or work.

10. Minors

The website and the service are intended for businesses and professionals. The form must not be used by people under 18.

11. Changes to this policy

This policy may be updated, for example because of changes in the law or in the services used by the website. The current version is always published on this page, with the date of the last update.
